Welcome to Waitoriki School
Active in Learning: Loving to Learn
Mātātoa ki roto i te akoranga: Aroha ki te Ako
Kia Ora. Welcome to Waitoriki School community. Waitoriki is a stable school with a current roll of 53. We are a rural full primary situated just 3.6km East of Inglewood on Lincoln Road. Our tamariki work collaboratively across Kauri, Kowhai and Totara akomanga (learning spaces), named to celebrate the mature trees in our school grounds. We have a strong emphasis on our enviro-schools program, the Key Competencies, STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths), and play/inquiry based learning. Our school prides itself for our friendly whanau atmosphere and our holistic approach to education. We trust your association with our school will be a long and happy one.
Welcome to the 2024 school year.
This year has begun full of wonderful optimism for what the year ahead can bring. This year we welcome Ms Jones back into the classroom after 3 years of being a non-teaching principal. The rest of our staff remain stable. This year brings exciting changes from the curriculum refresh into our teaching and learning.
We encourage our school families to keep an eye out for updates on our school calendar and school Facebook page,
Out Of Zone Enrollments
